Job Advert Location Description

Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Ticehurst House specialises in the treatment of mental health problems.

Offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for service users, including separate facilities for young people, personalised treatment programmes are delivered by our multidisciplinary team alongside the use of a range of therapies.

Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital Ticehurst House is looking to recruit members of the public to become Associate Hospital Managers. These are voluntary, lay people who oversee hearings to review the care, treatment and detention of patients who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).  They decide, based on evidence from healthcare professionals, if the patient can be discharged if the patient appeals. They also have the role of scrutinising the documentation of sectioned patients

Associate Hospital Managers do not require any special skills or qualifications as full training will be provided, however an interest in mental health issues and with good communication skills is desirable.

If you are interested in finding out more please contact Chloe Rawlings at chloerawlings@priorygroup.com or calling 01580 202269 for further information and an informal discussion.
