Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services supporting adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge.


Priory Adult Care Supporting You in The South provides support to individuals living in their own tenancies and outreach support to vulnerable adults in the community.  Our service in Guildford is looking to recruit exceptional team members, to support the three young adults who live there.


The Support Worker Role

Your main goal is to support individuals to achieve what is important to them and their quality of life.  You will play a key role in: building confidence and self-esteem, encouraging daily living skills, managing household duties, administering medication and having fun.  The role also requires support workers to assist service users with personal hygiene and to support them with the self-management of challenging behaviour.


We are looking for staff who are flexible, patient, able to listen, have a great sense of humour and passionate about person centred support.  Experienced and inexperienced support workers are equally welcome as full training and continuing professional development are provided.

Successful applicants will work as part of a rota that includes evenings, weekends and sleep-in duties (where required).



Merrow in Guildford, close to local bus routes and within easy distance of train station and the A3.
