Job Advert Role Description

The secret of Apple Mews success is its people, and our Nurses are special people. Each day they assist our residents, who live with learning disabilities, to write another page in their life story by supporting them to maintain health, engage in meaningful activity, build relationships and contribute to their community. Residents live in small household bungalows, each having six residents. This small group environment offers our nurses a genuine opportunity to take the theory of relationship centred practice from the text book, and put it into practice, so truly individualised care becomes reality.

This is a fantastic time to join the company as it grows in Northern Ireland and we are looking for exceptional nurses who are interested in, and who have the compassion and dedication to work with people who have a learning difficulty.

Apple mews is all about doing things a little bit differently. We engage with staff in creative ways and welcome ideas that enrich our service and the lives of people who live here.  Staff development is at the heart of the service.
