Job Advert Role Description

Looking for an exciting new challenge? Priory Adult care is looking for Care Assistants!

Bannview House is a modern, purpose built nursing home, in Banbridge supporting up to 80 older people. The home is designed with comfortable lounge and dining areas and a fabulous arts and activities room. Many rooms in the home have fantastic views of the rural countryside and the attractive enclosed gardens and patio provide residents with a safe and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the care Assistant role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.

Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.

Care Assistant benefits include:

  • A competitive salary
  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
  • Comprehensive induction and commitment to on-going training
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Online benefits and cashback rewards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • SMART childcare vouchers
  • SMART pension option
