reston Private (formerly part of Amore Care) is a care home designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care, and is finished to a high standard. Our dedicated team ensure we meet the resident’s individual care and social needs.

Situated in Fulwood, Preston, the home offers a modern and supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms, relaxing lounge areas and its own immaculate gardens which provide residents with a lovely space to enjoy.

Each bedroom and lounge is designed to ensure comfort and safety. The friendly and welcoming décor helps residents to feel at home. There is an open visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.

Job Advert Role Description

As part of the Support Services team, our Kitchen Assistants deliver a high quality service to our service users through the creation, presentation and delivery of meals. In line with the company’s catering policies and procedures, the successful candidate will support the provision of the catering operation, assisting with basic food preparation and hygiene. A capable and reliable team player, you will need to be able to successfully manage pressurized situations with exceptional customer service.

  • Previous experience in catering together with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is ideal but not essential
