Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Addison Court is a purpose-built care home providing Residential care, Nursing care, Dementia care, Day care, Respite care and End of life care.

Conveniently situated in an easily accessible residential area in the centre of Accrington, the home offers a supportive and safe environment.

Job Advert Role Description

The jobholder requires basic numeracy and literacy together with an appreciation of basic food hygiene. The role holder works within a busy kitchen environment using a variety of equipment where many routine tasks are repetitive and require a degree of sustained physical effort and concentration.

  • Ensures that all catering stock and equipment is correctly stored and accounted for in accordance with the company’s Assured Safe Catering standards.
  • Delivers meals and other catering supplies to various areas within the unit in a timely and efficient manner.
  •  Under direction, assists with the basic preparation of food items.
  • Ensures all cleaning within the kitchen, catering and servery areas (as appropriate) is completed in a timely and efficient manner and complies with the company’s Assured Safe Catering standards.
