Job Advert Location Description

We are an acute service providing treatment for a wide range of acute mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, obsessive compulsive states, schizophrenia and all other major acute psychiatric illnesses.

Lakeside View is a specialist Personality Disorder Service that includes a transitional service for women aged 18-25 years. There is an experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

Job Advert Role Description

We are now seeking to recruit a speciality doctor to work alongside the existing full-time consultant.

If you have a passion for delivering first class Acute  care then we want to hear from you.

To join us, you must hold an MBBS qualification or equivalent and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).

Ideally candidates will have experience of working in inpatient settings of people with significant mental health difficulties.

The post holder will work closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists and our large multi-disciplinary team and be committed to providing quality patient focussed care, comprehensive risk assessment and mental state examinations and competant physical health examinations and management.

The post requires a good team player who must be keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation and management plans
