Job Advert Location Description

Set back within landscaped gardens in a secluded part of Southgate, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital North London specialises in the treatment of mental health problems including addiction rehabilitation.

Offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 49 service users, including separate facilities for up to 22 young people, personalised treatment programmes are delivered by our multidisciplinary team alongside the use of a range of therapies.

Job Advert Role Description

We are currently seeking to appoint a Ward Manager for the Acute Adult Ward. This is a private 27 bed ward that provides Addiction Services, OCD and general acute. The postholder will be supported by two Charge Nurses and an outstanding nursing team. 

The successful post holder will have minimum 2 years experience within  a similar role, and have experience of managing a group of professional staff.  The post holder will co-ordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment with a 24 hour responsibility for staffing.   As part of this role, it is essential that you work within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure consistency of patient and clinical care is to a high standard. 

You will need to ensure the unit complies with statutory and current legislations and meets quality standards.

It is essential that you hold a relevant professional qualification (RMN) together with full membership/accreditation of a professional institution.
