Job Advert Location Description

Ty Cwm Rhondda is a 20-bedded low secure mental health facility offering high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for men with complex mental health needs, serious mental illness including treatment-resistant presentations, and challenging behavior.

Job Advert Role Description

  • To contribute to the provision of a comprehensive and specialist psychology service to patients at Ty Cwm Rhonnda
  • To provide specialist psychological assessment, and offer advice and consultation on clients psychological care to non-psychology colleagues and carers.
  • To provide specialist psychological interventions through initiating and implementing treatment programmes in collaboration with the other team members.
  • To produce and disseminate reports and clinical summaries of an excellent standard.
  • To Participate (under the direction of the Regional Psychologist) in contributing to regional audits as well as the research programme for the sites.
  • To have the capacity to work autonomously and within professional guidelines and the overall framework of Priory Healthcare policies and procedures.
  • To Contribute to the MDT approach to Care and Treatment planning and delivery.
