Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services.

Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking for someone to be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of quality aspects of Governance  and Audit across the hospital, to promote and deliver against key performance indicators and within statutory regulations. The role is busy, fast paced and would suit someone with exemplary organisational and computer skills.

The roles involves:

  • Co-ordinating quality improvement activities
    •   Implementing and monitoring systems to ensure effective practice, as part of the annual audit. Collating monthly audits from all clinical areas and drawing up actions plan as necessary.
    • Providing support, advice and guidance to the hospitals Governance and audit team, as well as supporting clinical governance on a monthly basis and ensuring all data required is appropriate and disseminated throughout the hospital.
    • Ensuring quality monitoring reports are collated and submitted to a high standard within deadlines. Close liaison with the Central Quality team within the Priory Group.
    • Supporting the clinical team in ensuring standards are met with regards to external incident reporting i.e CQC.
    • Taking a lead in the monthly Learnings and Outcomes meetings where site wide incidents, complaints and action plans are reviewed. We are looking for an experienced administrator to join the administration team at Roehampton; providing administrative support in dealing with Serious Incidents, Claims and complaints.


Ideally you will have very good organisational skills and experience in working with people over the telephone.


  • Taking an active role in supporting the management of serious incidents, claims and complaints and ensuring that all necessary details are accurately recorded and that timescales are adhered to.
  • Maintaining and updating a variety of spread sheets
  • Close monitoring of various timescales to Serious Incidents, Complaints and Claims. and liaising with colleagues in ensuring that appropriate and timely action is taken
  • Providing advise and guidance to both staff and service users in relation to the management of serious incidents , claims and the Priory Complaints Policy.
  • Provision of additional support in all areas during periods of colleague absence/leave.
