The Priory Lodge School is a school for young people aged 7-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.

Job Advert Role Description

We would like to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Performing Arts. We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic classroom Teacher who will be able to complement our dedicated team of outstanding practitioners and support our pupils to reach their potential.

What we are looking for:

•           A qualified Teacher to teach across all key stages and who has excellent subject knowledge;

•           A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning and who will expect excellence from the students;

•           A collaborative and motivated individual who will help to deliver and lead the subject through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes.

The successful candidate will be in sympathy with our ethos, passionate about enabling every child to exceed expectations, well organised and able to demonstrate excellent teaching. Candidates who have extremely high expectations for themselves, pupils and staff; engage pupils with their enthusiasm for learning and keen to take a full and active role in the life of the school are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who can offer two or more subjects within the area of Performing Arts.  NQTs are welcome to apply.
