Oak Vale Gardens is based in the L13 area of Liverpool. The service has been developed to accommodate and support up to 18 adults with an acquired brain injury and complex health and social care needs. The purpose built facility offers accommodation in easily accessed grounds with car parking facilities. Situated within easy access to local transport links and motorway networks the focus of the service provided is to meet the holistic needs of each individual aiming at maintaining and improving their quality of life.

Job Advert Role Description

The role:

We are looking for a Support Worker to work permanent night shifts.  It is 44 hours a week which is 4 shifts a week from 8am-8pm.

Providing a high standard of compassionate care to patients who require assistance with their activities of daily living. Working with patients with highly complex needs that require skill, patience and commitment and will involve new learning due to the specialism.

Working as part of an interdisciplinary team contributing positively to ensure the implementation of patient-centred care and rehabilitation plans. Compliance with all relevant and mandatory training to ensure best practice.

The role will require individuals to work flexibly undertaking shift work including nights and weekends.

This is a highly specialised field and can present challenges, therefore a full induction programme and extensive in- service training will be provided.
