The Priory Hospital Altrincham is located in a beautifully appointed and tranquil part of Cheshire. With access to an on-site Doctor 24 hours a day, we ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere at all times. Our senior consultant and therapist-led teams are also supported by 24 hour, expert nursing care. 

We are one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of depression, anxiety and addictions and we provide consultant and therapist-led treatments for 50 patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

The striking manor-style house which stands upon beautiful, landscaped grounds provides a peaceful and homely feel to the hospital, delivering the perfect environment for treatment.

Job Advert Role Description

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Family Therapist to work across child and adolescent inpatient and day care Eating Disorder services at Altrincham Priory Hospital. The hospital is a principle provider to the NHS in the north of England, focussing on positive holistic outcomes through full service provision.

The role holder will work as a member of the multi- disciplinary team to provide assessments and interventions for children, young people and their families who have been referred to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The role holders responsibilities will include:

  • Working within the standards set out by CQC, other regulators and evidence based practice.
  • Regularly reviewing and monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal based outcomes and the care programme approach.
  • Participating in service developments including service user feedback and contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols and to provide  specialist supervision, training and consultation to colleagues.
