The Priory are looking for a passionate and committed individual to manage their Canterbury Wellbeing Centre, a busy Outpatient clinic that has been running for over 16 years and was the first of Priory’s dedicated Outpatient clinics.

Priory Wellbeing Centres offer expert mental health treatment with the flexibility of convenient outpatient appointments in central locations, and are a great way for busy people to manage their mental health. All our treatment programmes are tailored to the specific needs of the individual, ensuring the best possible outcomes are achieved.

Job Advert Role Description

The Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Wellbeing Centre, including coordinating the administration and delivery of clinical services; the routine operation, maintenance and upkeep of a client-facing environment; and compliance with statutory requirements as regulated by the Care Quality Commission and other statutory bodies.

With high personal standards, you will set and ensure the delivery of the highest level of Customer Service from a patient’s arrival to their departure.  You will support and integrate with Priory’s well-established Clinical Governance procedures, working in partnership with our Clinical Directors and the internal Quality Team.  You will have managerial experience, having managed and led at a senior level in a similar position, industry or operation, and some clinical experience or exposure is an advantage, in particular an understanding of outpatient therapy.  You will have proven commercial acumen, people management and leadership skills.

You will be responsible for an operating budget and familiar with managing it through a simple P&L; and be responsible for all financial matters including client invoicing, and payments to Employed and Self-Employed therapists.  There will also be the opportunity to be trained and qualify as the Registered Manager of the service, a regulatory requirement that is endorsed by the Care Quality Commission.
