Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Woodhouse Hall is a 19-bed residential service split over two sites. The service supports adults with learning disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and individuals who can present with behaviours that challenge. One section supports individuals of both genders with more moderate-severe learning disability and Autism, the other section of the service consists of seven flats supporting females with mild learning disabilities and mental health. 

Job Advert Role Description

The role of a support worker is to support individuals to develop skills linked to daily living, supporting with aspects of personal care, supporting individuals to access internal and external activities, learning opportunities and work placements. The role will involve supporting individuals to develop independence and promote choice and inclusion. As a support worker, there is an expectation to complete relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records. .
