With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Situated in Southport-Birkdale, York Road provides specialist residential support for five young adults with varying learning disabilities, communication difficulties and autism.York Road is a large Victorian house situated on a quiet street, with easy access to public transport. There is a homely and friendly environment at our service which helps the people we care for to feel relaxed and happy in their surroundings. Our five bedrooms are personalised by those people in our service to make York Road feel very much their home. Outside is a garden where we host plenty of barbeques in the summer months and a large trampoline which is used regularly. There is also private transport available which is used for day trips and other off site activities

Job Advert Role Description

We're looking for an excellent general administrator to provide and efficient and effective administrative support service to the home, including:

IT systems management (including invoicing, staff rostering) ,document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll-related administration

Meeting and greeting visitors

Supporting the management team with recruitment and selection processes and administration and other general HR and finance administration

Maintaining effective filing systems

Stock ordering and maintenance

Taking accurate meeting minutes

And any other general administrative procedures as required in order to support the service to operate efficient, organised and up to date administrative procedures.

You will have:

•           Excellent communication and administration skills include systems data input, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel

•           Effective organisational capability

•           Great team player

•           Flexibility to respond to multiple priorities

•           Strong “can do” attitude

Manage systems and processes which affect service compliance in a timely manner, including staff rostas, care hours, incident reporting, purchasing, e-compliance, Online training systems. Ensure that weekly/monthly returns are completed in the absence of the Service Manager

Contribute to the formal supervision and appraisal of the staff team in line with organisational and statutory requirements.
