Job Advert - Division Information

Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Ashfield Lodge is a newly refurbished, purpose built nursing home and day centre located in the quiet market town of Sleaford. The small and intimate home accommodates up to 20 people and provides support for people with mental health and physical needs who require assistance and care.  The home provides day care in a dedicated centre with a kitchen, lounge diner and a well-equipped activities room. The homely and comfortable environment has been finished to a high standard and the attractive enclosed gardens and patio provide residents with a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The home is easily accessible either by road or by rail and is located just a short walk or drive from the town centre.

Job Advert Role Description

The work is both interesting and varied. You will support the Clinical Teams who deliver specialist care to our residents, of course. But you will also play a major role in making the lives of our residents as happy and fulfilling as possible – not just by showing real warmth to them and their families, but by continuously looking for ways to engage their interest and enhance their experience every day.

The qualities and skills we look for:

  • First-class communication skills
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • Personable and motivated
  • Organised, resilient and hard-working
  • Flexible with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude

In return, we will give you:

  • Market competitive rates of pay
  • Specialist dementia training and support from our award-winning, university-accredited ‘Creative Minds’ programme
  • Full library of interactive learning resources from the Aged Care Channel in every home for personal & professional development
  • Online benefits portal with a range of offers and cashback rewards
