Job Advert Role Description

Due to consistent growth, we are seeking a suitably practical person to undertake a full time role within central Priory Education and Children’s Services.

The role will be located at a suitable local Regional Hub Office, of which we have a series across the UK, meaning that there is flexibility in terms of choosing an office that works for the successful candidate, depending upon where they live.

With line management by the Director of Strategy, the post holder will be liaising with the business development, projects and referrals colleagues across the division to facilitate the accurate monitoring and recording of Average Daily Census. Working in partnership with colleagues across the business, to ensure conversion of new referrals, to negotiate and resolve fees, and to show determination and diligence in supporting the business to support more young people. There will be a big focus on managing the development of business from new and current customers, again working closely with colleagues, including in the Projects and Operations teams, to ensure Average Daily Census and EBITBAR targets are achieved.

The role will also include stimulating international growth and supporting referrals through to successful placement and establishment of appropriate fee arrangements. As well as account management of existing customers, ensuring optimum pricing levels are achieved. The post holder will be liaising with customers and Accounts Department to ensure all customer accounts are paid according to agreement, as well as assisting with any Business Development initiatives as directed by line manager.

This is a unique post for a practical thinking candidate, who can use their time in a targeted way but who is also looking to make a real difference to young people.

Key skills:-

  • A great confident communicator, comfortable to speak with a range of external stakeholders and those throughout Priory.
  • Highly organised and used to working accurately complete work within tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and used to managing task priorities
  • Proven experience of commercial ability, the ability to deliver budgetary and growth commitments.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in selling education and social care services and knowledge of relevant legislation/statutory requirements associated with SEN education and residential children’s homes.
  • Excellent written and report writing skills
  • Highly motivated, prepared to work remotely, or to travel to locations for meetings etc.
