Job Advert Role Description

Secondary Teacher

Priory Queenswood School, Ledbury, Herefordshire

Priory Education is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist care and education for a reason. We recruit some of the most committed teachers in the sector

  • Do you thrive on change and challenge and long to make a real difference?
  • Are you looking for something very different?
  • Can you meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable and challenging children in the education system?
  • Are you fun, resilient, positive, calm and committed to maximising pupils’ achievements?
  • Are you a creative, flexible and inspiring teacher?
  • Do you have a great sense of humour?
  • Do you want to be part of a friendly, supportive and visionary team? Where every member of staff is valued and encouraged to share in the schools leadership?

We require a teacher to lead and deliver Computing Studies to GCSE level. A broad set of skills to deliver various areas of the curriculum is an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will join an established team of care, education and specialist therapy professionals working together to support student progress and will receive a bespoke induction package. Experience in a Special School setting or in managing challenging behaviours would, of course, be an advantage – but this exciting post could also suit a newly qualified teacher with an interest in and desire to learn more about special needs. Attractive rewards, flexible hours and strong teamwork are all part of the package.
