Set in beautiful grounds The Priory Hospital Southampton is a 40 bedded hospital.   Services provided at the hospital include an eating disorder ward, an adult ward and a young peoples ward (CAMHs) We treat most  psychiatric conditions.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and diligent person to join our admissions team providing an excellent opportunity to join the Priory Service in Marchwood, Southampton as an Finance / Admissions Officer.

This role requires good skills and knowledge in the following:

  • Microsoft office
  • Excellent numerical competency
  • Data and spreadsheet skills
  • Communication Skills - you need to be strong and confident when dealing with customers, patients and ward staff
  • Smart and well mannered
  • Confidence in talking and taking details over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure is essential
  • Experience in a mental health service environment is desirable but not essential
