We are having a job open day at Southampton Job Centre on 21st May 2018 from 10am to 1pm,

At Brooke House we put people first and empower the individuals we support, the ideal candidates will have a background in care, the candidate should have or be willing to work towards NVQ level 3. For the senior support worker, the role involves supporting and supervising the support workers on shift at Brooke House, and also supporting the delivery of high standards of care and support to the people that use our service, the candidate will ensure that they also contribute to the delivery of the development of the service and be involved in the day to day care of the service users, for the senior support worker, the role entails, once trained will carry out supervisions alongside the home manager and will support the home manager in the day to day running of the service, by making sure all reporting of incidents are carried out in a timely manner.

The role holder will be expected to follow policies and Procedures and have a good knowledge of CQC. The list is inexhaustible. In turn the role holder will have the full support of the management and team at Brooke House.

Brooke House is a transitional service which supports up to nine individuals with a learning disability, or dual diagnosis of Mental Health and Autism and behaviours that can challenge, some of the individuals we support at Brooke House work in paid employments or attend day service and other activities. Our team work tirelessly to develop each individual’s skills to help them to live more independently. Brooke House also supports an individual on outreach with Prada Willis Syndrome, Autism and other health needs.
