Job Advert Location Description

Knightsbridge House is a nine bed hospital in Fareham which provides assessment and treatment in both locked rehabilitation and supported living settings for men with a learning disability and complex mental or physical health needs.

Carard Cottage, within the main grounds, is a four bed detached house providing supported living accommodation for residents who are ready for greater independence and to put their skills for living into practice before they are discharged into community settings.

Job Advert Role Description

As the Service Manager, you will be working with the Hospital Director in the day to day management of the service as well as making sure the service is fully compliant, making sure clinical care is being delivered at the highest standards and ensuring key performance indictor's are being delivered.

The Service Manager will have to run this rehabilitation service when needed. As a key member to this nursing service and part of the SMT, you will play a key role in providing clinical and operational leadership to your team in support of the Hospital Director.

 

Responsibilities include:

•              Undertaking full clinical responsibilities for the service

•              Reporting directly to the Hospital Director of the service

•              Deputising in times of absence

•              On Call Cover

 

Essential criteria:

 • Need to be clinically trained - RMN/ RLND/RGN and OT or Psychologist

• Be dynamic and effective in your approach

• Be experienced within the Mental Health / Learning Disabilities Sector

• You will empower and have good leadership skills
