With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Combs Court comprises of three separate homes, a shared flat, and four individual bungalows which provide assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but may present complex conditions and mild to moderate challenging behaviours. There is ground floor accommodation and adapted equipment as required by individual needs.

Job Advert Role Description

Combs Court offers 24/7 specialist residential care in a community setting for up to 29 adults who have learning disabilities, Autism, Mental Health issues, behaviors that challenge and associated health issues.  Our aim is to deliver a quality person centered service to empower individuals to lead a more independent and fulfilling life.We are situated near the town Stowmarket. 

We are looking for a part time driver to help with the transportation of staff and vulnerable adults. You will pick staff up from 3 certain pick up points within the Stowmarket area and drive them to our service. There also maybe occasions where, with support from other team members you will have to drive our vulnerable adults to activities/appointments. You will need to ensure that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner. This role will also have some light domestic duties.

We are looking for a warm and friendly person with good time keeping and knowledge of the local area of Stowmarket and surrounding areas.

You Must have at least 3 years’ driving experience from date of passing your test and no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
