Job Advert Location Description

The Vines is a residential rehabilitation service for people who have experienced acquired brain injury.

A dedicated multi-disciplinary team of nursing, rehabilitative support and therapy staff develop and deliver programs tailored for each individual. Positive goals are developed in conjunction with their families to best reflect individuals' aspirations. Individuals are supported to take part in activities they enjoy, including sensory experiences, and families are encouraged to be involved through regular review meetings.

The role:

Are you passionate about supporting people, have good communication and organisations skills?  If the answer is yes....We're looking for people to join our team who really want to make a positive difference to peoples' lives.

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team at The Vines.  You will provide high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users.

Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families.  You will support the service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
