Park Villa, in Macclesfield, is a community-based hospital providing tailored rehabilitation and recovery for up to 11 women aged between 18 and 65 years, with complex and enduring mental health needs.

Job Advert Role Description

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Cook to work at The Priory Group’s Park Villa site, working 12 hours a week over Saturdays and Sundays.

The role holder will be responsible for planning, preparing, cooking and serving meals within the Park Villa site ensuring all activities and operations comply with operational standards and statutory regulations.


Key Accountabilities for the role holder will include:

  • Ensuring the effective and efficient planning and delivery of all aspects of food preparation and cooking, taking account of dietary and nutritional requirements within the unit.
  • Being actively involved in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages as well as ensuring operational standards comply with the company’s ‘Assured Safe Catering policies’ and guidelines and statutory regulations.
  • Ensuring that stock ordering and rotation is organized in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
