The Priory Hospital Romiley will provide a recovery and rehabilitation service for female patients with complex mental health needs.

The hospital will be registered with the CQC and offer 10 individual bedrooms for detained (MHA) and informal patients.

We are looking to recruit Bank Healthcare Assistants to work across all our services, offering flexibility and support at times of increased demand.   You will be required to work across all the services on site and may be moved services during your shift if required.

Job Advert Role Description

You will be personable, flexible and motivated and will support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

The nature of the role necessitates frequent interaction with staff, patients and visitors on the ward. Well developed observational and listening skills are essential for monitoring the mental, emotional and physical well being of patients.
