Our ambitious and energetic colleagues help make our company what it is and we are looking for more people who have got what it takes.

Our home in Worthing has five bedrooms and provides a high standard of care and support for young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to look after the home environment who would also be able to pick up some support worker duties. 

You would need to be able to cook meals in volumes suitable for a large family, have an understanding of food safety and COSHH as well as a caring attitude and a willingness to learn more about supporting young people with emotional, social and mental health difficulties. 

Duties may include but will not be limited to:

  • Monitering and updating H&S files

  • Food shopping

  • Food stock rotation

  • Cooking main meal

  • Menu setting

  • Deep cleaning of home

  • Interacting with the Children

  • Monitoring Children if staff have to go out with another Child

  • Assistaning with cover for sickness and annual leave

  • Helping children with independent living and cooking skills

   Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards QCF/NVQ3.

 

This role will require you to be able to use a vehicle for the purpose of the weekly shop for the home so you will need a full driving licence.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.

Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
