The Priory Hospital Glasgow is a private 35-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of Glasgow.  The Hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. The Priory Hospital Glasgow specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders unit. The Hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to Glasgow and local areas and parking is available locally.

As an independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital we can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and in-house training opportunities are provided for staff at all levels


Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can prepare, plan and deliver group and individual recreational and occupational activities both on and off-site, using local facilities and amenities to enhance the weekend experience for in-patients in our Eating Disorders Unit.

The successful candidate must have a full driving licence and experience gained within a related clinical or therapeutic environment.  The successful candidates will deliver activities alongside a colleague although there will be times when they will lead activities themselves, for example to cover holiday periods.

The working pattern is 7 hours on a Saturday, with occasional attendance during the week for such purposes such as training.
