Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life?

We are currently looking for caring Support Workers at our site in Harrogate, The Shielings. The Shielings, is a large Victorian property set over four floors. It is situated on a quiet street overlooking the pine woods, which are part of the famous Valley Gardens.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital. Part of your role as Support Worker is to assist residents in carrying out leisure activities including, shopping, swimming, bowling and trips to places of interest.

Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.
