Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Lily Close provides 10 beds, across 3 bungalows for adults with learning disability. Each bungalow can support people mobilising in a wheelchair.

Lily Close is located in the community, with easy access to local shops, leisure centre and colleges; with good transport links into central London and neighbouring towns to promote social integration and meaningful engagement for patients with their local community.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Support Worker with us, your role will involve:

  • Maintaining a positive relationship with patients, their families and carers as well as other health agencies
  • Helping to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Carrying out and supporting a range of activities, including basic nursing, social and recreational activities, and health promotion
  • Encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living; along with supporting a lifestyle which facilities, spiritual, physical, psychological, cultural and social needs of the individual
  • Assisting with providing a needs-led service
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individuals care plans
  • Undertaking a range of training and development activities, in line with your personal development plan and legislative requirements
