With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Newstead House is a specialist registered service for 16 adults who have Autistim and Learning Difficulties. The service comprises of a main house which has two floors and a further 6 appartments within the grounds.

 

 

Job Advert Role Description

The role of night staff support worker will involve supporting people who have complex support needs and may display behaviours that challenge to use our service in achieving their outcomes.

You will support service users to participate within activities,personal care and  with daily living tasks with a focus on promoting independence through positve behaviour support. You will be required to complete daily administration tasks which  include updating person centred support & care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes. The role will also involve completion of domestic tasks and supporting individuals to maintain there environment. You will be required to complete all required training within timescales in relation to your role.

A positive mental attitude and professional approach is essential.
