With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Riddrie House is a three tiered rehab focused home for 32 people aged over 18 for individuals with mental health diagnosis. Situated in the residential area of Riddrie, Glasgow with easily accessible routes to services in the city centre we are an active part of the community. Our diverse and experienced team make a difference to the lives of the people we support every day enabling them to achieve outcome focused goals and reduced support to successfully return to living in the community free from addiction.

Job Advert Role Description

As the Registered Nurse Service Manager you will make a difference every day taking overall responsibility for Riddrie Knowes Home promoting high standards of care in line with our regulatory bodies. As Service manager you are required to manage both the people and resources to ensure high standards of care and service are achieved within the home to regulatory standards. Your extensive mangement experience, communication and interpersonal skills are key features of the role and will involve activities such as coaching, counselling with residents, their families and local external partners.

As the Registered Nurse Service Manager you must be able to adapt your approach to the target audience ie residents, emlpoyees, commissioners, referrers. Your detailed knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with mental health is essential.

As Service Manager should also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the key business activities associated with a registered home and demonstrate a strong background of successful home management.
