Job Advert Location Description

The Priory Hospital Romiley will provide a recovery and rehabilitation service for female patients with complex mental health needs.

The hospital will be registered with the CQC and offer 10 individual bedrooms for detained (MHA) and informal patients.

It is expected that referrals will come predominantly from the North West area for women “stepping up” from community based services and “stepping down” from acute & PICU wards and Low Secure Services.

Park Villa, in Macclesfield, is a community-based hospital providing tailored rehabilitation and recovery for up to 11 women aged between 18 and 65 years, with complex and enduring mental health needs.

Job Advert Role Description

The main purpose of the role is to deliver an efficient and effective maintenance service across two of our hospitals, Park Villa in Macclesfield and Romiley in Stockport.

The role will involve overseeing both building and engineering maintenance and minor new works across the sites, and will include liaising with suppliers and contractors working at the sites.

The role holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and Safety requirements across both sites that will have experience of risk and COSH assessments.

This is an exciting opportunity, which requires a team player with strong organisational, planning and communication skills and an ability to work under pressure. The role holder will also require good computer skills and have experience of managing budget.

Candidates will have the relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification within one of the key electrical, mechanical or building trades with the Joint Industries Board (JIB) approved status.
