Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

The successful applicant will cover three services as below; Halifax Drive - based in Leicester, Halifax Drive provides support for adults from the age of 18 with learning disabilities and associated behavioural and mental health problems.

Lansdowne Road - based in Leicester we support people aged 18 - 65 years, who have been diagnosed with a learning disability. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment. Mar Lodge - is a specialist residential care home in Melton Mowbray providing support and independence to adults with autism and associated learning disability.

Job Advert Role Description

To manage the maintenance and upkeep of the site to the required standards and in accordance with Company policies and procedures to ensure the safety, well-being and comfort of residents. 

Maintains a well decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the site, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations.

Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues and then actions as agreed to ensure that environmental conditions meet quality standards and statutory regulations.

Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance, in order that planned and preventative maintenance schedules can be completed in a timely fashion.

Ensures inspection certificates and maintenance records are accurate, up-to-date and comply with operational standards and statutory regulations.
