Job Advert Location Description

Lakeside View is a specialist Personality Disorder Service that includes a transitional service for women aged 18-25 years. There is an experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

There is also an acute service providing treatment for a wide range of acute mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, obsessive compulsive states, schizophrenia and all other major acute psychiatric illnesses.

Job Advert Role Description

As part of our housekeeping team you will provide all general cleaning duties required to provide a clean, tidy, attractive and safe environment.

To follow a cleaning timetable, but to be flexible in this when circumstances require and to perform any other duties as and when required. You will be required to undertake a range of duties involving direct patient contact and interaction.

As a Housekeeper you will be working within a team which includes a range of professionals. You will make an effective contribution to providing high quality care.

 

To be successful as a Housekeeper, you'll need:

Skills and Knowledge:

• Good communication skills as you will be interacting with patients as well as staff

• Work independently and have motivation and thoroughness.

• Energy and enthusiasm.

• Effective organisational capability.

• Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude.

• Understand basic numeracy and literacy.

• Be able to prioritise work.

• COSHH is required but training will be given.

• Some appreciation of addictions and mental health.
