With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Turketel Road is a residential located in Folkestone kent and supports the needs of young people with a diagnosis of Autism, learning disabilities, communication difficulties and physical disabilities. The home can accommodate a maximum of 6 individuals and is currently at maximum occupancy supporting 6 young men with autism, learning disabilities and complex health needs. The service is in an area where there is close access to amenities which supports community access and leisure pursuits.

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
