Job Advert Location Description

Lakeside View is a specialist Personality Disorder Service that includes a transitional service for women aged 18-25 years. There is an experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

There is also an acute service providing treatment for a wide range of acute mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, obsessive compulsive states, schizophrenia and all other major acute psychiatric illnesses.

Job Advert Role Description

Our Catering Assisant role involves:

  • Supporting the timely provision of food and beverages to patients, staff and visitors and assisting the chef on duty to deliver  well-presented meals
  • Assisting the chef with general kitchen duties as required
  • Ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s Catering Policies.  This will include daily and weekly deep cleaning tasks.

 To be successful as Catering Assistant you’ll need:

• Awareness of safety and hygiene issues in a working environment

• Experience of working in a similar role

• Knowledge of Health and Safety and food preparation procedures

• Certificate in Food Safety / Hygiene

Knowledge of COSHH would is desirable
