Priory Fostering Services provide high-quality, stable foster care placements in warm and welcoming family homes in the West Midlands and South West of England for:

The Head Office is in Malvern, but our social workers are home based.   

Job Advert Role Description

Be part of a small friendly team. Priory Fostering Services is an Ofsted Outstanding Independent Fostering Agency based in the West Midlands. PFS offer a protected work load of 10-12 families and is looking for someone with previous experience in working for an independent agency. This role is home based, but travel to our head Office in Malvern will be required on occasion.  

Duties and Responsibilities.

Supervising Foster Families based in the West Midlands Region
Ensuring our foster children are safe as per current Law, Regulation and  Standards  
Training, assessing and supporting new Foster Carers
Working on our Out of Hours duty rota

Job Requirements

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid HCPC registration
A working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering
Two Years Fostering Experience, preferably within an IFA
Able to participate on an out of hours' rota
Undertake assessments and complete reports to  a good standard
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle to travel

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.

Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
