Job Advert Location Description

Oaktree Manor is a low secure hospital providing care and treatment to adults (male and female) with a primary diagnosis of learning disabilities. Patients are all detained under the Mental Health Act and may have Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); challenging behaviours; dual diagnosis including mental health and personality disorders. We have six wards which provide safe and therapeutic environments for the patient group . Oaktree Manor is in Tendring which is near Clacton on Sea , Essex and has good travel links to nearby towns such as Ipswich, Colchester and also London

Job Advert Role Description

Our Housekeeper role involves:

•           Being part of a Housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness across the site.

•           Ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory legislation, including company policies, procedures, and departmental protocols

•           Promptly and accurately reporting and recording all unusual and untoward occurrences

•           Complying with Health & Safety and Environmental Health Regulations.

•           Being part of a weekend rota.

To be successful as Housekeeper you’ll need:

•           Previous cleaning experience working in a care environment is essential

•           Awareness of safety and hygiene issues in a working environment and basic knowledge of Health & Safety and infection control procedures is required
