Job Advert Location Description

Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, Priory Hospital Chelmsford is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems. The hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 44 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.

Our highly experienced multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes alongside the use of a range of therapies.

Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 part time or 1 full time Ward Clerk on our CAMHS. This is a post for applicants with administrative experience.  The role will include assisting with a variety of admin duties, typing of correspondence, inputting patient data onto a computer database system, reception cover and covering holiday/sickness. The post holder will also provide administrative support relating to the Mental Health Act 1983 and training will be given for this role.  The post holder must be a team player and work well under pressure.  IT literacy and confidence in the use of a computer is essential. Experience within a healthcare environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
