Job Advert Location Description

The Priory Lodge School is a school for young people aged 9-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.

Job Advert Role Description

To work under the supervision of and with the support of the Therapy Manager, while liaising with the pastoral and therapy teams, to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and programmes aimed at addressing the needs of the students, primarily in the areas of student wellbeing.

 

The role will include planning, delivering and monitoring specific interventions to students, eg. anger, anxiety management or Mindfulness; training, supporting and working alongside ELSAs (Emotional Learning Support Assistants; leading on the school's student mentoring provision; tracking students' wellbeing; compiling pupil passports and supporting parents and families at coffee mornings and parent forums.


Applications are particularly welcome from candidates with an understanding of Psychology and supporting pupils with autism and/or with high levels of anxiety.
