Job Advert Location Description

We are opening a new acute service providing treatment for a wide range of acute mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, obsessive compulsive states, schizophrenia and all other major acute psychiatric illnesses.

Lakeside View is a specialist Personality Disorder Service that includes a transitional service for women aged 18-25 years. There is an experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

Job Advert Role Description

The Role

We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Recovery Support Workers to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental health issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

Requirements

  • Education to GCSE Standard or equivalent
  • NVQ or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience of healthcare in a similar setting would be an advantage
