Job Advert Location Description

Eastwood Grange School is a specialist day school located in the village of Ashover, near Chesterfield for boys aged 9-18 years.  The pupils exhibit a variety of severe and complex educational, social, emotional and mental health difficulties, which have impeded personal developmental and educational success.  

Job Advert Role Description

1. Maintains a well decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the unit, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations.

2. Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all unit areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.

3. Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to line manager (and then actions as agreed) to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.

4.To ensure that as part of a team the fabric of the building is continually updated to reflect the needs of the learners. This may include small maintenance jobs as well as more substantial projects. 

5. Undertaking any other additional duties such as gardening (lawn cutting etc.)

Please note that you will be expected to work at Eastwood Grange and across other Priory Sites as required.

Driving Licence is essential.

Working hours to be negotiated but flexibility and some late working will be required.
