With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Role Description

In all positions you need to be willing and able to work in an environment that can be challenging and unpredictable.  You will be required to support the residents to ensure that their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the people using the services are being met, promoting empowerment, choice, decision making.  You will be expected to build and engage in friendly and supportive relationships with the Service Users to enable them to make decisions about their own lives in a safe and planned way.  You need to be flexible and reliable, be able to work effectively under pressure, use your initiative and be able to prioritise your workload.  It is essential that you have the ability to maintain confidentiality, good verbal and written communication and a basic knowledge of computerised operating systems.  We work a 24hour rota system, seven days a week.  All positions are currently for daytime working

Though previous experience in the Care, Autism, Mental Health and Learning Disability field is desirable a positive enthusiastic attitude and a desire to learn is a far greater requirement.  In return you will be provided with ongoing training opportunities and support through supervision.
