Pelham Woods is an inpatient rehabilitation service which is well placed to serve the south east of England and provides for the needs of women who have complex mental health problems, personality difficulties and in some instances, a history of challenging behaviour.

The hospital is set in picturesque grounds overlooking the Surrey Hills and has extensive facilities including onsite Gym, Purpose Built Bake off Kitchen as well as Occupational and Educational Facilities.

Pelham Woods is a motivated, devoted, nurse led service which is dynamic in therapies. As a member of the team at Pelham Woods you will be encouraged to let your creative side flow, positively contributing to the sites success. You will also have free access to the onsite gym facilities.

Job Advert Role Description

As the Catering Assistant you will play a part in providing a quality dining experience for our service users. Main duties will include basic food prepartaion and maintaining the cleanliness standards in the kitchen and serving area.

You will have report to the Lead chef.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:-

 

Essential:-

- Understanding of food hygiene

- General understanding of Health and Safety

- Good written and oral communication skills

- The ability to work as part of a team

- Basic computer skills

- Customer and Patient focused

 

 

Desirable:-

- Previous catering experience
