Job Advert Location Description

As a member of our  residential care team you will provide residential care  for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour. You will assist them with their daily lives. This could be in the form of helping the young person at School, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.

The desired outcome is for young people to achieve success in accredited qualifications and to gain increased levels of independence to enable them to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions.

 

Job Advert Role Description:

We require an Assistant  House Manager for one of our residential children's homes located in the Preston area. Under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people. You will effectively guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.

NVQ/Diploma L3 Caring for Children and Young People and relevant experience in a children's residential child care setting is essential.
