Job Advert Location Description

Devon House is situated in Oakwood, North London. The service is a large, purpose-built house offering support to adults with brain injuries and complex support needs. The service is conveniently situated for access by bus or tube (Oakwood Station, Piccadilly line). Our Devon House services employ and use a comprehensive and highly skilled team who are experienced in supporting individuals with a neuro-disability. The team provides 24-hour qualified nursing support with on-site nursing management and a fully trained team of support staff.

Job Advert Role Description

We are currently seeking  motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support worker to join our team.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their skills and experiences in engaging with patients, effectively managing risk and promoting patient involvement in their care and treatment.

You will want to work in a therapeutic environment that supports the patients move towards a safe, more independent future and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.

You will work with the qualified staff in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care and be expected to facilitate groups and recreational activities.

Candidates with post psychology background hoping to pursue clinical experience are welcome to apply.
