We have implemented an exciting new service, where you will be involved in making crucial decisions for our Hospitals. We want to lean on your expertise as a registered mental health nurse and experience in acute settings to evaluate all patient referrals to Priory Healthcare & Partnerships in Care and make a decision on the clinical appropriateness for a placement in one of our for our acute and PICU services..

The Triage Team Leader will provide leadership for a small team of Registered Mental Health Nurses whilst working the majority of the time in the Triage Nurse Role. Part of the role will be to work with senior colleagues within the division in the development of systems and processes for acute triage and working positively with referrers and hospital colleagues to ensure continuous improvement.

We are looking for registered mental health nurses who are confident to work alone and make clinical decisions based on information provided by referrers.

You will lead the Triage team of nurses in the development of systems and processes to continually improve this service.  You will have the opportunity to liaise with clinicians from across the Priory Group in your day to day work and in the development of the service. 

The role is based at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal, but provides a service within Priory Healthcare across a number of sites; some limited travel to other sites may be required for example as part of your induction.
