Job Advert Location Description

Oaktree Manor is a low secure hospital providing care and treatment to adults (male and female) with a primary diagnosis of learning disabilities. Patients are all detained under the Mental Health Act and may have Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); challenging behaviours; dual diagnosis including mental health and personality disorders. We have six wards which provide safe and therapeutic environments for the patient group . Oaktree Manor is in Tendring which is near Clacton on Sea , Essex and has good travel links to nearby towns such as Ipswich, Colchester and also London

Job Advert Role Description

Our Catering Assisant role involves:

• Providing timely supplies of food and beverages to patients, staff and visitors

• Delivering  well-presented meals

• Assisting the chef with general kitchen duties as required.

• Working no split shifts. Monday to Friday 07.00 - 15.00, 08.00 - 14.00, 09.00 to 17.00 or 10.00 to 18.00. You are required to work every other weekend with two days off during the week.

 

To be successful as Catering Assistant you’ll need:

 

• Awareness of safety and hygiene issues in a working environment

• Experience of working in a similar role

• Knowledge of Health and Safety and food preparation procedures

• Certificate in Food Safety / Hygiene
