Suttons Manor is a specialist low secure forensic service for men who are over the age of 50.

Care is provided over two wards, both of which are 13 bedded male units and offer an age appropriate environment for those who also have a mental health/personality disorder and/or dementia, in need of physical health care needs.

The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over 9 acres near the town of Romford in Essex. Convenient access is provided by the M25, and the nearby underground station at Theydon Bois, which is on the Central Line, or rail station at Romford.

Job Advert Role Description

Main Duties:

 

1.         To provide administrative support, undertake general office duties including typing, preparation of memos, letters, reports, filing, photocopying and tracking systems such as emails and receive and process internal and external mail in relation to the Mental Health Act.

2.         Work with outside organisations and internal professionals to facilitate Mental Health Review Tribunals.

3.         Being present at Appeal Hearings and ensuring all legal documents are completed and forwarded to the RMHAA

4.         To issue invitations to external persons and patients on time and in accordance with the current MHA policy.

5.         To assist in providing an effective system of liaising with other members of the MDT and Medical Secretaries.

6.         Meet & Greet to meetings at all units for Tribunals
